Administrators Bronxteck Posted July 21, 2013 Administrators Share Posted July 21, 2013 that is a chameleon graphics enabler issue.... it has the wrong id's for your video card. according to your pictures you have 4500mhd 0x2a42 and 0x2a43 not x3100. as of yet the card is not fully supported in osx. also we do not use iFail. Administrators Hervé Posted July 21, 2013 Administrators Share Posted July 21, 2013 Bear with us, we might be able to help, but no guarantee... The GMA 4500MHD was totally unsupported under Mac OS X. But clever people work on writing kexts for the various versions of it.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 23, 2013 Moderators Share Posted July 23, 2013 Yes i have a gma 4500m now i what kext i do install in my laptop? paky888, Boot from Ubuntu, from Terminal run this command: sudo intel_reg_dumper From the output, search for the line that starts with PCH_LVDS example: PCH_LVDS:0x80308302 (enabled, pipe A, 18 bit, 2 channel) If you see enabled, then you might be able to get full QE/CI with a little tinkering. If disabled, the most you'll get is CI for your display for now.
