Grim Reaper
I've got 10.8.4 almost fully working on an OptiPlex 960T (mini tower) except for wake from sleep. Does anyone have it working on an OptiPlex 760 or 960 and/or will help me by telling me your method and/or edit the OptiPlex 960 DSDT to get it working? Grim Reaper
I set the hybernation mode to 0 with the following command and put the computer to sleep but it didn't wake up: sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0 Here's where I got the command: http://www.osx86.in/2009/07/fix-sleep-in-hackintosh.html The information there says that HPET in DSDT has to be edited. I don't have a clue about what to do. Here's some more information: sudo pmset -g assertions Password: 2013-08-09 9:52:04 PM ED Assertion status system-wide: PreventUserIdleDisplaySleep 0 PreventSystemSleep 0 PreventUserIdleSystemSleep 0 ExternalMedia 1 DisableLowPowerBatteryWarnings 0 UserIsActive 0 ApplePushServiceTask 0 BackgroundTask 1 Listed by owning process: pid 768(helpd): [0x0000000c00000141] 04:06:36 BackgroundTask named: "com.apple.helpd.sdmbuilding" pid 17(powerd): [0x000000090000012c] 04:07:10 ExternalMedia named: "com.apple.powermanagement.externalmediamounted" Kernel Assertions: 0x0132 * Kernel Assertion ID = 500 Created At = 2013-08-09 5:45:18 PM ED Modified At = 2013-08-09 5:50:37 PM ED Owner ID = 0xffffff800e3a9000 Level = 255 Assertions Set = None (4) * Kernel Assertion ID = 501 Created At = 2013-08-09 5:45:19 PM ED Modified At = 2013-08-09 5:50:22 PM ED Owner ID = 0xffffff800e3cb000 Level = 255 Assertions Set = None (4) * Kernel Assertion ID = 502 Created At = 2013-08-09 5:47:00 PM ED Modified At = 2013-08-09 5:53:35 PM ED Owner ID = 0xffffff809af4d000 Level = 255 Assertions Set = None (4) * Kernel Assertion ID = 503 Created At = 2013-08-09 5:47:00 PM ED Modified At = 2013-08-09 5:53:03 PM ED Owner ID = 0xffffff809af47000 Level = 255 Assertions Set = None (4) * Kernel Assertion ID = 504 Created At = 2013-08-09 5:47:01 PM ED Modified At = 2013-08-09 5:53:46 PM ED Owner ID = 0xffffff809af4a000 Level = 255 Assertions Set = None (4) * Kernel Assertion ID = 505 Created At = 2013-08-09 5:47:11 PM ED Modified At = 2013-08-09 5:45:01 PM ED Owner ID = 0xffffff809af56000 Level = 255 Assertions Set = None (4) * Kernel Assertion ID = 506 Created At = 2013-08-09 5:47:11 PM ED Modified At = 1969-12-31 7:00:00 PM ES Owner ID = 0xffffff809af53000 Level = 0 Assertions Set = None (4) * Kernel Assertion ID = 507 Created At = 2013-08-09 5:47:11 PM ED Modified At = 2013-08-09 5:53:45 PM ED Owner ID = 0xffffff809af50000 Level = 255 Assertions Set = None (4) * Kernel Assertion ID = 508 Created At = 2013-08-09 5:48:16 PM ED Modified At = 1969-12-31 7:00:00 PM ES Owner ID = 0xffffff800e4d5f00 Level = 255 Assertions Set = None (128)
