paradoox
What would be the best way to suggest minimum requirements to create a USB installer? http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp/documentation/pre-installation/ Access to a working OS X system (Hackintosh or real Mac)Be changed to say Access to a working OS X system (Hackintosh or real Mac) of at least 10.6.Or something like that? Administrators Hervé Posted September 26, 2013 Administrators Share Posted September 26, 2013 Point noted. There are other enhancements we need to do on these pages. Whenever we find the time...

aparsons
I have a Dell630 Latitude with NVidia graphics card and am following the installation process. When I inserted the USB all went well until I had a graphic showing that I should turn on my Apple wireless keyboard and mouse. I remembered from somewhere that a USB keybord and mouse will get round this. Sure enough plugging in a USB keyboard and mouse (and starting off again) got past this and allowed the installation to proceed. You could mention this in the Installation guide as a step or at least as a tip as it is not obvious and puts a complete stop to the installation process. Administrators Bronxteck Posted October 21, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 21, 2013 if you shut off Blue tooth before install you will not get that. i think we mention shutting off intel wifi and BT modules.
Administrators Hervé Posted October 21, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 21, 2013 Yes and if you press Esc/Space/Enter a few times, it tends to go away...
