mkats4412
I have AUSUS Z170-A (ALC892 Skylake). v2.3.5 works well with my skylake + 10.11.6 I did not have to configure anything. After installing v2.3.5 on /L/E/, It just worked. Thanks a million:)
Scrambler77
I tried EAPDFix 2.3.5 and it works very well on my GA-Z170N-WIFI Skylake build. Excellent work! The only thing not working is the microphone reset. It still stops working after sleep/wake. Anyone has a solution to this issue? Am i missing something? Thanks in advance! Sherlocks
I tried EAPDFix 2.3.5 and it works very well on my GA-Z170N-WIFI Skylake build. Excellent work! The only thing not working is the microphone reset. It still stops working after sleep/wake. Anyone has a solution to this issue? Am i missing something? Thanks in advance! i dont see mic with eapd. normally have spk or hp or sensor node with eapd. please attach your codec file. i think your patched file is wrong. Scrambler77
I did some experiments with CodecCommander and mic does work after sleep, but i'm having issues with rear speakers, so i'm back with EAPDFix. What codec file do you want me to attach?
Sherlocks
eapdfix all fixed. because i had hard test all system. basic funtion too. please attached linux codec dump. i think your codec has jack node with eapd. also you check eapdfix setting. gujiangjiang
Hello my XPS have ALC298 and have some distort on my headphone. I can use hda-verb to let it fine but can't make it auto when i power on my laptop. I try the EAPDFix.kext, but with no effect. Then i change the Value of IntSpeaker and delete the ExtMic and the EAPDFix works but have a lot of problem.Such as when i first power on my laptop,i have no sound in IntSpeaker and no IntMic works, only when i plug/unplug in the headphone can make it work. And when a sleep then wake it up,my headphone has distort again. How to fix it? My CPU is i7-6700HQ
whitegerry
OMG this kext has finally fixed the first loud click sound after startup for my alc665 with the setting FixType=3. And I don't know why codeccommander.kext can't solve the first loud pop sound issue.
