ptesone
I noticed the only thing that's a little slow on my D620, is the wireless. I bought a Dell 1490 WLAN from ebay (mac supports this natively without any extra kexts and shows up as a Broadcom 4311), and I was wondering if anyone else had kinda slow internet, somewhere between 3g and 4g speeds? I'm going try using a different one from kexts.com next. . . thanx!

Get another wifi router ok, I'll switch the antennas around before I get another router. In windows 7 I have no speed issues what so ever, so I know it's not the router or the card. . . Slice
For some reason 4311 is not a best choice for MacOSX. You may emulate 4312 Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package () { "device-id", Buffer () { 0x12, 0x43, 0x00, 0x00 }, "name", Buffer () { "pci14e4,4312" }, "model", Buffer (0x13) { "Dell Wireless 1395" }, "device_type", Buffer (0x08) { "Airport" }, "built-in", Buffer (One) { 0x00 } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) }

ptesone
have you rebranded the card ? (might be a stupid question, but i'm tired) well, since rebranding is 50 x's easier for me than editing a DSDT.aml, I will let you know how it goes. . .
