georgenight777
I solved the resolution problem with resolution module. The only issue is that when I open the safari the display is flickering a little and I thing it is because of the missing kext for the GPU. How did you resolve the resolution problem on e5500?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted February 3, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 3, 2015 download chameleon wizard. In the modules tab, install Resolution.dylib. This goes to /Extra/Modules

Administrators Hervé Posted March 2, 2015 Administrators Share Posted March 2, 2015 Screen resolution only works automatically if the graphics framebuffer loads Ok. With a totally unsupported GPU such as the GMA4500, you won't get very far though. The only way for you to get what you seek is to manually force screen resolution through the Chameleon boot plist. Use the Chameleon Wizard for that, you'll see what to do straight away. Hint: Graphics Mode...
