Try different USB ports, perhaps the eSata/USB combo port Hello, i've have built the installer with the MBR patch; so i would try to boot with the -v dart=0, if it doesn't work, i would rebuild the installer without the MBR patch. i've tested all the USB ports when installing. I'll keep updated. regards Mehsar

mehsar
i thought for disk it was ahcidisk=1 debug=8 flags. i am not sure if that still works on mavericks though. Hello, I've rebuilt the installer without the MBR patch, it moves one step further and hopefully i get the Apple logo and the setup starts. I've already allocated an unallocated space partition from my windows but the setup cant continue on the partition; even I reformatted it using the Disk Utility. Do i need to format the whole disk including my windows partition in order for it to work, or there is a workaround? Regards Mehsar
