Daniel
I've attached the BIOS screenshots, seems like it's working properly. I've tried to revert to AsereBLN, but my system can't even boot, I've got kernel panic about AppleIntelCPUManagement: No HPETs, and cpus configured incorrectly. So now I'm using Chameleon RC5 r687. I've replaced VoodooBattery with AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext, but now it's says: "Service Battery". Do you have any ideas how to get rid of that message? Right now I'm using the following power management kexts: VoodooPowerMini, AppleACPIBatteryManager, and Mariusz's DSDT, with Chameleon RC5 r687 Thanks for the help! Administrators Leon Posted January 31, 2011 Administrators Share Posted January 31, 2011 is it an orginal battery.. i have seen the same issue with a copy-cat battery
Daniel
Yes, it's an original Dell battery. The problem came around a month or two, when I installed Chameleon RC5, and Mariusz's DSDT. Revert to the old DSDT and bootloader didn't help. I think I do a fresh install when EDP 1.5 final is released.
Administrators Bronxteck Posted February 4, 2011 Administrators Share Posted February 4, 2011 Mariusz can you have a look at this? it works good and now chameleon finds hpet.. but you need graphics kext in E/E for it to work. dsdt_from_Slice.zip
