TMNTony
The kernel is where it is supposed to be I think. it's in System/Library/Kernels in Yosemite. My issue now is that I can boot it without the -f bootflag, but if I do, the trackpad, and battery meter are all wonky ie it does not recognize it as having a battery or trackpad at all. Administrators Bronxteck Posted December 21, 2014 Administrators Share Posted December 21, 2014 do you have kext-dev-mode=1 boot flag in your org.plist? it might not be loading those kexts into you cache.
TMNTony
I do have kext_dev_mode=1 in my org.plist. I installed this over an old Myhack and I wonder if that is creating any sort of mess.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 21, 2014 Moderators Share Posted December 21, 2014 Yes, look for /System/Library/Extensions/myHack.kext and delete it. Then repair permission and cache.
TMNTony
I deleted that file and repaired permissions and cache but i still run into the issue of having no trackpad, keyboard, or battery meter upon booting.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 2, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 2, 2015 Try adding /System/Library/Kernels/kernel to org.chameleon.boot.plist
Administrators Hervé Posted January 2, 2015 Administrators Share Posted January 2, 2015 By the way, watch the syntax of Chameleon options, it's very important to ensure the parameters are not ignored: it's kext-dev-mode=1, not kext_dev_mode=1.
