Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 23, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 23, 2015 You'll need CodecCommander and EAPDFix from this pack. Found in Kexts/Other/LE, install to /S/L/E or /L/E
DuongTH
are you sure ?install both CodecCommander and EAPDFix ?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 23, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 23, 2015 It's a bit overkill, but yes, both. This specific version of CodecCommander has a profile ALC292 patched to fix the hissing noise on the headphone. Made with theDarkVoid's help, but it won't wake audio after sleep. That's where EAPDFix is needed. It's still not perfect, but it's perfect enough for me. Test for yourself. If you have a better solution, please share. DuongTH
Hello much to my dismay, the m4800 with the qhd+ does not support switchable graphics, and is not the same bios as the m3800 which had a backdoor option to modify the bios. So now I don't know where to go from here. With nv_disable=1 I am able to get graphics working but it is slow, flickers, and I loose the top app bar. So any advice would be great. Is it possible to get nvidia graphics working? work harder ! on hackintosh, not thing impossible
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 25, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 25, 2015 i'm trying but Panic by EAPDFix bro! something wrong ? about noise, i think hex patch on the fly was change. i'm not good on patch HDA but will try patch HDA again. Try latest version of EAPDFix. You'll need to change the codec ID for your headphone and FixType to 3. Use mine for example. No issue with the patch on the fly in my Config file. Works just fine on El Capitan on my E7440.
sgilbert
I haven't worked on this for some time. DuongTH, are you using Clover for install? Does your internal display work, or is this connected to external display? Some guidance please. Thanks,
King of Cat 👑
+ Clover all time+ Can you see "Build-in-display" on Brightness slide bar ? (no external display) issue is your internal display's connector type. run live Ubuntu -> open terminal-> type : xrandr --listproviders-> enter --> copy all result to here. i hope your result don't have eDP port.
