nelight
Hi. I've got a Latitude e6330 with DW1510 WLAN Card and Plextor m6s SSD. I followed this: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/6372-dell-latitude-5x30-6x30-clover-install-guide/ guide about setting up a Yosemite. I'm on phase 5. I've got a USB installer with Clover. When i'm booting with "-v" flag i see a kernel Panic: com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagament(210.0)[962955A0-….] What can I do?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 13, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 13, 2015 That guide is a bit outdated. Download Clover Configurator. It's also available in HVT tool in the guide. Open the config.plist with Clover Configurator. On the left side, select Kernel and Kext Patches. On the middle, put a check to "Asus AICPUPM". Click on File and Save.
nelight
It worked! But after preparing the disk in disk utility, when I click on Install I get "could not find installation information for this machine, contact apple care". Did I something wrong? Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 13, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 13, 2015 You must've be missing something in your Installer. Do you have at least FakeSMC.kext in EFI/Clover/Kexts/10/10 or other?
nelight
Ekhm... I don't have that folder. I used CLOVER files from: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wp67kogo6dr5dwn/Clover.zip Edit: Making '10.10' folder and copying all things from 'Other' folder to it, didn't work. Here's the tree:
Administrators Hervé Posted June 13, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 13, 2015 Try an use a recent version of Clover.
nelight
So, I've placed some kext recommended for clover to '10.10' folder and got this: http://s1.postimg.org/ktx82kxdq/SAM_0005.jpg Maybe connecting this Pendrive to Windows damage it? Is there any other possibility? I don't have access to a Mac OS... Edit: I will not give up. I will install a that half working Maverics distro like I did it before to set up clover one more time and reply when I'm done.
Administrators Bronxteck Posted June 13, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 13, 2015 looks like you have to inject your ig platform id's or graphics.
