Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 6, 2016 Moderators Share Posted September 6, 2016 I would recommend replacing with a compatible card over an USB. Some USB causes sleep issue. DW1510 works out of the box with no additional patch or kext, however only has wireless and no bluetooth. DW1550 requires 3 -4 kexts for wireless and bluetooth and 2 patches. absint0o
I ordered a DW1510 because it's allot cheaper than the DW1550 and i usually don't use bluetooth.Meanwhile i will try to overcome that issue in the El capitan instalation. So if i disconnect the wireless card i probably could overcome that problem right?i will give you feedback! thanks for the help! absint0o
It looks like it's crashing with the wireless kext. What wireless card do you have in your system? If it's an Intel, try removing it and boot without cache again. Hi, i removed the wireless card as you see in the photo bellow: but i get the same result: any other suggestion? thanks! Administrators Hervé Posted September 9, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 9, 2016 Seems you need to boot without cache and rebuild it afterwards.
absint0o
Hervé, I've already done that (spacebar in the clover menu) and the computer keeps rebooting. Do you mean boot without cache and connect the wifi card while the El capitan is booting?
Administrators Bronxteck Posted September 10, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 10, 2016 looks like it might be hardcoded into your DSDT or a SSDT as a brcm wifi patch. that id is for a dw1550 come to think of it it can also be a clover option under device wifi if it has that device id. or clover kexts to patch. shit could also be a modified broadcom kext. Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 10, 2016 Moderators Share Posted September 10, 2016 Bronxteck is right. It's patched in the DSDT. Replace DSDT in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched with this one. Wireless patch removed. DSDT.aml.zip
absint0o
BronxTeck and Jake Lo, Thanks for all your answers! now the computer doesn't restart anymore but i'm getting this screens: When boot the El Capitan Installation from Clover without any extra option i'm getting this screen: When boot without cache and in verbose mode i'm getting this screen: Then i'm getting this one: And the computer stop responding and i have to reboot it. Any other option from clover menu gives me the same result as the last screen. I'm booting with my wifi card connected.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 12, 2016 Moderators Share Posted September 12, 2016 What's the display resolution of your system? The last screenshot is an USB issue. Make sure BIOS is set to AHCI under SATA Operations.
