Known issue for Dell Exx30 models where BIOS version over A12 causes artifacts. If you have something newer, you'll have to downgrade to A03 and then upgrade to A12. From one of the older 5x30-6x30 guide, pokenguyen mentioned that firmware needs to be <A13. I didn't see any mention of firmware version in newer guides. Thank you! anhgiang Posted October 21, 2016 Author Share Posted October 21, 2016 I have downgraded firmware to A11 and the graphics glitches was gone. Thank you! There are problems with ethernet and wakeup. NIC does not work half of the time, mainly it can not get IP from DHCP because MAC address show NULL, all zeros. When it sleeps, no keyboard or mouse/pad could wake it up. The only option is to press the blinking power button and it turns off the system. Pressing it again will boot up clover and El Capitan loads up just like a restart. Also for some reasons, LastBootedVolume in clover never worked, it always booted MAC. I have a second ssd connected to the cd/dvd sata port running UEFI Windows 10. Thanks guys!
