slippy_osxf
Hello, this is my first topic in this forum and i hope, some one could help me with my first hackingtosh steps with my new Dell Laptop. I have no more ideas, why the installation hangs or stops after selecting the installation partition. But at first, i used this perfect article to create an usb stick for installation: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/9383-dell-e6220-i7-2620m-clover-detailed-guide/ Also used the recommend BIOS Setting from the linked Site in the guide above. After the first errors, like a kernel panic, i´ve found a suitable SSDT.AML for my processor. And now the kernel panic is solved but the Laptop stops now with a black screen with a single crossed white circle. I´ve attached a screenshot from the Window. I hope, that someone could help me with this issue.

slippy_osxf
Hello, in verbose Mode i get a broken text, when the installation hangs up. And when i´m still waiting, i can see, that every (may be 10 or 30 seconds) a new blanc line appears. I´ve put some screenshots in my answer. Thanks for your help! Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 10, 2017 Moderators Share Posted April 10, 2017 It's an USB issue. Attach the bootpack you're using here. Could just be a simple configuration issue.
slippy_osxf
@Bronxteck I´ve tried to put the kext also into Library, like in the article suggested. But has no changes and get some more errors. Maybe the new screenshot could help you with more details. Or should i try the bootlick from your signature? Administrators Bronxteck Posted April 12, 2017 Administrators Share Posted April 12, 2017 try removing the ps2 kext in your config if you have a usb mouse and keyboard.
Administrators Hervé Posted April 12, 2017 Administrators Share Posted April 12, 2017 Unless you really need Clover, I'd advise you run with Chameleon/Enoch and follow the guides I posted here.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted April 12, 2017 MyHack will not support anything above Mavericks. Go with the manual guide posted by Hervé.
