Latitude 5490: Need help installing macOS Monterey
tinDell replied to Daylight's topic in 5000 Series
you can try to find other laptop efi with same specs in the forum. -
Yes, trackstick works with AlpsHID. Good job!
-
See no differences between 1500 & 6000 on my Latitude 7490. Touchpad works fine, but not with the trackstick. Not working at all. EDIT: just found out that 1500 made cursor in open core menu not respond quickly.
-
Some said that avoid runtime defrag has been solved in latest open core.
-
Great! Which OC did you use?

A fully working Dell latitude 7370 with M5 cpu hackintosh

Maybe you should check your graphics memory. If less than 1536 MB, then there is problem with your graphics setting in config.plist. Check at Device Properties > Add. -
Thanks, but I think to postpone for a while. Wake function not working at all when I used the kext and driver.
-
Not yet search for SSDT-TB3. Just report that try to activate thunderbolt made display port function sometimes failed.
-
Yes, also does not work for me. I want working trackstick and buttons too, don't want to see it as ornament
-
Before using your EFI in system information, Thunderbolt: no hardware found. After: no drivers are loaded. As you said, now wake from sleep take a little longer than before. Just now even failed to wake. I will try to use my previous SSDT files. Here is the ioreg. Edit: Proven. Use your SSDT made wake time response longer or failed sometimes. Now I keep the previous. mac’s ioreg.zip

How to patch? Mine with TB3
-
This issue also happened Windows, that Dell Latitude can not use keyboard or trackpad to wake from sleep. Can we use keyboard or trackpad to wake in hackintosh? So far not yet found it in google search. I remember also had this issue in Latitude E5450 and 5470.
-
It happened because I did it wrong way. I use itlwm.kext and here is how to load the kext: https://easyhackintoshing.com/index.php/home-page/topic/adding-and-removing-a-kext-to-from-your-config-plist/ It works now! Thanks!
-
Hello, thanks for your EFI sharing! It works in my i5 7490. You said the problem sleep to wake mode fixed, how did you fix it? MIne still unable to wake after enter sleep mode. Thanks!
-
Want to ask, how to add Airportitlwm.kext to Kernel section in config? I tried and got kernel panic.

Does perfectly working mean pinch to zoom work as well? I badly need this feature :) -
Thanks a lot! It can reboot now. I think it is ready to update to Catalina. Btw, do you have suggestion to improve battery life? I think it's shorter than windows.
-
It just stop at apple screen. I have bootable installer so that I can put backup config and reboot. Here is clover folder CLOVER.zip
-
Thanks for your support. Not succeed yet to generate debug files. Oh my problem is I can not reboot Mojave after update clover, kext & change EC. The installation guide said I have to reboot after update clover, kext & change EC. Or should I update to Catalina first before reboot? Sorry for my english.

I did change the comment, find* and save it. But still it can not boot.
