  1. The Origin folder shows me that you're using the wrong set of DSDT/SSDT Replace this contents into /EFI/Clover and try again
  2. That just mean the pci.ids in the DCPIManager app is out of date. Mainly cosmetics, nothing more. If audio is working already, you are good to go.
  3. (Unkown Codec) in dcpimanager does not necessarily mean audio is not working as it shows the same on most of my Hacks. Stick with layout-id 28 as it's supported for Lenovo Legion Y520 by vusun123, similar to yours. Have you tested audio, make sure to enable 'Play feedback when volume is changed" in Sound preference if you're testing audio that way.
  4. Yes, it's reported by other members with the same model, I don't have an answer to that brightness issue. Change layout-id back to 56, should be the best option you have for audio. Make sure you have SSDT-ALC256.aml in ACPI/Patched No need for SSDT.aml if you have PluginType enabled in the Config file and HWPEnable enabled under CPU in Config file. What panic do you have on reboot? Post screenshot.
  5. Move AppleBacklightInjector.kext to /L/E for Brightness Repair permissions and rebuild cache For blank screen after wake, it could be an EDID issue, a common issue for Kabylake and some Skylake..try this For Audio I see you have layout-id 28, if that doesn't work, try 3 and make sure you don't have VoodooHDA and AppleHDADisabler install
  6. Replace SSDT-PNLF with this one SSDT-PNLF.aml.zip
  7. In Config file, change layout-id from 56 to 13. For Brightness, does it work after wake from sleep?
  8. were you able to export the ROM file from the BIOS?
  9. well, this is a KabyLake system, so you should go with MBP14,1 or 14,2
  10. No, still not fully accelerated. Using 0x19168086 is the same as using 0x12345678. I guess with 0x59168086, system won't boot?
  11. try upgrading Lilu.kext and AppleALC.kext Might be a known issue for VoodooI2C.kext See here, you'll have to go through the chat for more info from anonymous-writer.
  12. Is the Brightness Slider bar showing in Display Preference? Does it work when you slide it back and forth? You'll need to set the Fn keys with Karabiner-Elements.app to use F11 and F12 to control the slider
  13. No need to repatch. Just use the same DSDT/SSDT I had attached, won't be any changes, just replace with your Config and make changes to it to include DSDT/SSDT in sorted order and drop OEM. SD Card is not currently supported.
  14. Yes, boot with it until it's completely installed, then it'll disappear
  15. Post the Clover folder being use for review
  16. Is the option to "Install High Sierra from Untitled" still there? It usually take a couple of reboots to complete.
  17. Awesome...perhaps update the 1st post with your files or write a guide to share your experience. Cheers
  18. Just need Lilu.kext & IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext instead of setting the BIOS DVMT
  19. try with this Config config.plist.zip
  20. Perhaps I'm not clear. I know it's added to the Config file. I mean to verify if it shows as enabled when you're at the Clover GUI and then going into Option...
  21. Did you follow the steps I suggested just to verify if FixHeaders is indeed showing as enabled?
  22. The files from the USB has the new patched files and Config I attached?
  23. Go to Clover Option -> ACPI Patching -> DSDT Fix Mask Go to the Bottom and see if Fix Headers is enabled. I've noticed that even though CC shows FixHeaders is enabled, but when booting to Clover Options, it's not checked. Could be a Clover glitch or CC glitch
  24. Boot to Clover Option, under ACPI Patching/DSDT fix mask [0x00000000] Make sure Fix Headers is enabled
