btw guys.. if you make some nice onces, do this: 1. Goto the wiki page 2. Download the zip file and add the new image 3. Upload the new zip and replace the one on the page 4. Upload the image to the wiki also like the others there That way we make it easy for people to use..

i'm also testing it.. think we have a winner .. so faar i havent seen any bugs, it do have the same bug as the voodoo one with not being able to work with istat, but again, i havet really seen any that can... can some please test this one so we know if we can add it to 1.5

Hi Everyone, Stepping forward, we are today doing some changes. 1. New Elite member, lets all welcome Thund3rbolt as a new Elite member (as for hes job, we will be the guy that brings beer) 2. FTP Closed down To release time and resources, we have today closed down the FTP, all good files have been moved to the Wiki (i know this might be a problem for people who wish to upload stuff, but since we have the forum i dont see a problem there) So, on top of that i have increased upload limits to 100mb 3. hahah.. nice.. but a bit to hardcore for my part.. I was actually thinking something that looks like the white boot screen.. eg. * BIOS hack with white apple logo * We change the chameleon theme to white with the apple logo also That gives a allmost full boot experience... what do you think ?

Hey everyone, So it seems, that our problem child is the D6x0 - mainly the Nvidia systems, so - to deal with that, i put up 350$ of my own money and bought a D630, it should arrive within a few days, once that arrive i will start testing. I'm sure, that none of the problems we see now will stay to long I'll like to call for all D6x0 owners to contact me via [email protected] - we need to put together a test team so we quick and swiftly can narrow this down and nail it to the wall.

Hi, This is a D430-Intel, and right now (with mediabase) its stable at 58C - i had it opened a while back when i replaced the old cooler, and i noticed that it uses these "pillows", i gave it a bit of artic silver both below and on top of the "pillow", and that lowered the temp. a bit - i have been considering finding some coper blocks to replace the pillows - rumor has it that it transports heat better.. what do you think ? And yes, the Nvidia becomes quite warm, but it also depends on what nm the cpu and gpu is made in.. eg. the 8xxx intel series produce less heat even with a higher freq. than eg. mine u7700 does.

Actually its quite normal for this model, the normal 1,2ghz is a bit less, i have allready done everything that Can be done, yesterday when we were doing experiments it went up to 87 degree

Other ideas ?
