  1. You used AppleHDA for STAC9200 correct?
  2. Well you'd have to get Mountain Lion from the app store or somewhere else, and reinstall everything all over again.. Furthermore, if your D630 uses Intel graphics and not NVidia graphics, you're stuck on Lion
  3. We are currently updating EDP so the boot packs have been taken offline. Cheers!
  4. Hello, So recently we have gotten some feedback from users referring to the VoodooHDA.kext and how they do not prefer it. We have been looking for a solution for this for a very long time as we ourselves do not enjoy VoodooHDA.kext either, for many reasons... So with that, we would like to announce a BIG change coming to EDP 3.x... We have recently been doing tests on an AppleHDA.kext for STAC9200 and STAC9205. Pretty much all if not all of the D-series have these sound cards, and we have gotten some pretty great results. (No sound delays, great mic support, and no kernel panics!). We are planning on integrating this into EDP 3.x as soon as possible, and we would like to thank everybody for their support and feedback. As always, if you have any questions or comments be sure to post it in the feedback section. Cheers, OSXLatitude Crew In short, here's what we are doing: Giving users of EDP an option to use either VoodooHDA or AppleHDA for audio. Making the recommended build have AppleHDA for audio. Integrating HDAEnabler.kext and AppleHDA.kext for STAC9200 Integrating FakeSTAC9205.kext and AppleHDA.kext for STAC9205
  5. Not sure if that is kext related or Bluetooth... Have you tried a different PS/2 kext?
  6. I have never had that error so I cannot tell what's causing it. You ran a myFix full after installing those two kexts correct?
  7. Well for one, you should use 10.7.0 and update it afterwards. Not required but you should. ANyways, yeah you will need GUID partition map and then follow the dualbooting guide for WIndows.
  8. Well I still like xfail but it seems the "OSXLatitude way" is myHack
  9. Use the boot flag -v -f -x UseKernelCache=no and then run EDP3 again... If that doesn't work, reinstall the OS (Make sure GUID Partition Table and Mac OS Extended (Journaled), and then after installation boot -v -f -x and have a USB keyboard and mouse ready. Then install the 10.7.4 combo update, and make sure you change the systems in system preferences so it won't go to sleep while doing so. Then after 10.7.4 is installed run EDP3
  10. And make sure it is formatted GUID Partition Table and Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
  11. Type -v and take a picture of your screen so I know what causes it

    D630

Then WiFi is a no-go. I know it sucks, but I blame both Apple and Dell.

    D630

If it's Dell Wireless, what model is it? Dell Wireless 1390, Dell Wireless 1490 etc?
  14. JawhnL5

    D630

If it is Intel, it simply won't work. OS X doesn't support and there isn't a kext out there that will make it work. I was making the assumption you had the Dell Wireless card which is supported.

It all depends on what card you have...
  16. Did you try deleting the PS2 kext?
  17. What you need: Computer running at least Mac OS X Leopard D620 with NVidia or Intel GMA950 Graphics Intel Centrino, Core Duo or Core 2 Duo CPU 2 GB of RAM or more 20 GB of hard drive space or more. Mac OS X Snow Leopard 8 GB or bigger flash drive. EDP 1.9.2 Insert your Snow Leopard install DVD or if you have a DMG image that works too. For destination, drag your formatted USB drive to the destination section. If you are making it on Snow Leopard, be sure "Erase Destination" is selected. On Lion and Mountain Lion it does it by itself. and then click restore. Enter root password and let it copy away! Now download the latest certified Chameleon bootloader from here: http://www.osxlatitude.com/files/Chameleon.pkg If you have Dell Latitude D620 with Intel graphics, download and copy this Extra folder to your USB stick: http://www.osxlatitude.com/packs/Dell/Dell_Latitude_D620-intel-sl.zip If you have Dell Latitude D620 with Intel graphics, download and copy this Extra folder to your USB stick: http://www.osxlatitude.com/packs/Dell/Dell_Latitude_D620-nvidia-sl.zip Now boot from your USB stick using "-v" or "-v -f -x" and then install OS X. 19. And after that, boot using -v -f -x arch=i386, do not use UseKernelCache=no as that will break the installer
  20. No it will not, and also, go into your Extra folder and delete AppleACPIPlatform.kext and then replace it with this one, and then run a myFix full mode again on the USB stick AppleACPIPlatform.kext download here
  21. In VMware on myHack, did you run a myFix full mode on the USB stick? Also, did you boot using these boot flags: -v -f -x arch=i386 UseKernelCache=no ? If that doesnt work I have one more thing you can try
  22. Hi, Delete VoodooTSCSync from your bootpack, Cheers!
