    Which bios version ?A16 

    Specific other settings changed in Bios instead of Bios Defaults -> SATA to AHCI and enable Legacy Mode too ? boot list option to UEFI

    What do you use on mSata OSX or windows ?both

    What do you use on SATA OSX or windows ?backup of el capitan

    Can you share your /S/L/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches  content ?print screen attached

    Can you share your clover config?attached

    Can you share your EFI folder ?to big file

    Which kexts did you added to L/E? LE print screen attached

    Which kexts did you added to S / L / E ?6 print screen attached

    I install new EL Captail, but only working after start Window before start OSX. If start OSX and shutdown OSX, turn on OSX, BT not working. I try edit config Clover config.plist and re install Kext ver 2.5-> 2.8.7.

    same trouble than you: working after reboot for win8, but not if booing directly to Capitan !

    i'm a realy stupid man...! :  

    in post @482 i have read "rename" and not "replace".......and now i'm not able to restart, same allocating error, also if i try to start from a other disk...

    i'm able to start on 10.10.5  from a older version of clover, but impossible to mount the EFI partition to change back the name.

    i'm stuck with a dead system....

    did someone have a idea how to solve this without reinstall.... i don't want to lose my working partition.

    for information, in my laptop , i have 2 HDD, one is 1Tera ssd, with a backup of a working 10.10.5, and a backup of EFI.

    the other HDD is 256 Giga ssd, with WIN8, osx 10.10.5 , and EFI partition.

    only Win8 is able to start....

    El capitan update won't start....

    10.10.5  is running well, clover is updated to 3270, and clover configurator is 4.24.0.

    i have follow the step provided and updated by JakeLo in post #463, but no luck, installation will not start.

    attached is picture of the message in verbose mode.

    i have try in safe mode, but exactly same.

    i really need help .

    the 10.10.5 is still booting correctly with the new and attached config.plist

    did you have a small tuto for update from 10.10.5 to el Capitan ?

     

    what i have try without success :

    - copy text on EFI from kext / 10.10 to 10.11

    - add this as #463  

     

    <key>RtVariables</key>

    <dict>

    <key>BooterConfig</key>

    <string>0x28</string>

    <key>CsrActiveConfig</key>

    <string>0x67</string>

    </dict>

    -download el capitan installer from Appstore,

    launch the installer

    reboot

     

    is it correct ? because installation will not start...

    Finally i fix it... , just plug the 8Go RAM memory  to the other slot.

    which recommendation are you referring to?

    Refer back to the last few posts. No issue for uranis. His Memory shows correctly as are mine.

     

    @uranis,

    No ,sdcard reader needs to be patch to work, not OOB.

    Hi, 

    on 10.10.3 working perfectly, i delete this 3 files "AppleSDXC, AppleIntelHD5000Graphics & AppleIntelFramebufferAzul ",

    after i update to 10.10.4, and install with kext wizard FakePCIID_HD4600_HD4400 and FakePCIID you send me. I repare permission and cache, reboot .......

    but still same , the graphic is not so good as on 10.10.3! still opening the windows step by step and the mouse is not moving smoothly .

    Which version do you need? 10.10.4?

    It's always a good idea to backup before patching.

    You could get them from the installer. Once restore to vanilla, reinstall the FakePCIID fix.

    If i update to 10.10.4, did this 3 files will be updated to the vanilla version?

    after removing from S/L/E the 2 files from HD4400_4600_Fix-6, graphics is coming back to good  !
    can you send me this 3 files "AppleSDXC, AppleIntelHD5000Graphics & AppleIntelFramebufferAzul " please
    i will try again tomorrow , it is time to sleep here in France.

    Try this if you don't have fakePCIID install

    i've try to run your commands in the terminal, no error message, but it didn't solve the log out trouble .
