Slice does the sdhc kext not load at all on your d420??? I just tried on my d430 kext loads at start up if i put a card in it says card found but then it says many error codes then i have to restart laptop.... This is my device and kext with system info app device.tiff kexts.tiff

Do you want to have a look at my card reader in inspiron d640m???? Problem so far work for some sd card but prevents me from waking from sleep..... Let me know If you need any info from my card reader....

It does not work properly If you update from a working version of snow. You have to start from beginning with 10.6.0 then install EDP and update then should work fine like on mine

Hi I used your EDP to install from scratch on my dell 640m. what I did changed some kexts in d4 folder and replaced them with my config also ps2 folder with mine. Anyway installed update first 10.6.5 the only problem if my dell does not have integreated frame buffer from leo I get a white screen on boot up... Every thing else was working I then put my frambuffer in d 4 folder where i put my kext for ethernet etc rebuild package again from beginning and then updated to 10.6.6 Unfortunately the framebuffer does not load so white screen again but this time I lost trackpad and sound Sleep works with trick of password, mirror displays as well, card reader too but I think only sd card not sdh If I could make framebuffer to load would be another model you could had to your list similar to mine is 9400 E1405 which is the same Cannot upload my kernel log not permitted I reinstalled my package again and got my trackpad and sound working again Here are some photos of my devices and kexts Ps I had to remove voodoo sdhc kext otherwise laptop does not wake from sleep

I do have a paid version but it wont speedstep if I dont install woodo powermini also I had to put my smbiosplist instead of yours otherwise cannot activate it

PS one hitch my coolbook b4 was working perfect now to make it work I have to install voodopowermini??? Otherwise speedstep does not work .Any ideas why???

Worked like a treat the only thing, vga out to make it work I have to revert to appleintelframebuffer kext from leo and live with a few artifacts Can confirm also working with 10.6.7 beta (10J850) keep up the good job ..

I ll try that I think problem could be the install was a copy from my dell 640m machine running 10.6.6 the reason i bought a d430 is coz cannot make dell 640m with gma950 go to sleep. I try new install as i have snow leopard install disk If you could point me to the guide in how to use edp would be cool also I tried voodoo ps controller but coz in debug mode after rebooting a few times it went crazy writing numbers etc etc

Hi I just bought a d430 last week and installed snow on it . I dont have an extra extensions folder or Extensionsmkkext is it. This way I can boot in safe mode otherwise I get kp. Anyway I managed to make laptop sleep the problem is when waking up I get dektop back but top bar is funny colors and mouse does not exsist any more. I get this both in 10.6.6 and 10.6.7 beta build j850. I downloaded leon extra folder for 10.6.6 but problem persist I attach my kextstat in case it helps kextstat.rtf
