I really think problem lies with dsdt too many igpu entries so I think I will give it a miss or I don't make laptop go to sleep ....... or I just use my probook 4430s and use E6400 only with windows...... I have just extracted a untouched dsdt of my laptop and funnily enough there are no entries on igpu ????/ So whats that about???? DSDT 2.aml.zip

Hi guys I have been experimenting with AGPM editing for this laptop with nvidia quadro 160m which is a version of geforce 8300m. I have managed to get all setting for video card from 180 to 580 then depending on use it goes up or down. Problem arises after waking up from sleep it will stay on highest always. I have edited dsdt and put GFX0 instead of agp but still the same no changes. Any of you more experienced might point me in the right direction i hope ? Im using smbios of macbook 5.1 same cpu specs as mine P8600 2.4 ghz by the way speedstep works native dsdt.zip AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext.zip

hi Leon easiest option with less headackes for me is to buy copyright off 500 bucks is not a lot of money it would only take 33 members like myself to donate 15 dollars which is not a lot considering what osx latitude has done for us hackintosh user This why no headackes changing server etc etc all data not lost Hope this option prevails Best of luck

I am having problems too with a E6220 i5 after I install I reboot but system hangs at bluetooth and if I boot in safe mode I have no keyboard I did run edp first time but as I booted in safe mode edp could not rebuild kext any ideas???

Hi guys I am trying to install snowleopard on a dell inspiron 1520 with x3100 but of course is the problem of black screen on bootup I have removed the device crt from dsdt as dsdte hack but problem still remains Can some one patch my dsdt for me or can explain what I need to do I am willing to donate or pay for the help dsdt.aml.zip

No I don't use any modems I tried with IOusbfamilykext from snow leopard but same problem I cannot understand if card reader is disabled in bios still it loads in lion...... F....

I managed to fix the problem some how although disabled in bios O2 Micro Sc reader is loading, so I deleted usbhub next from usbfamily kext and bingo shutdown in 5 seconds P.S. yes shutdown problem solved but no usb devices working I might try with usbhub kext from snow leopard

Hi I just recently installed lion on my dell d630 I am running 10.7.2 but when I shut down it takes about 30 second and I keep getting same message. Strangely on snowleopard I do not get this message and shut down is quick. I have google it but can t seem to find anything I attach message Any ideas ???????

Hi just bought a d630 with nvidia card and installed 10.6.8 on it I found a few peculiar things If I run latest edp my dell dw 1395 card in not recognised in 10.6.8 although I have applied broadcom 43 rev 2 kext Solution went to earlier edp changed dsdt and rest and bang card working....... I also did not like booting with graphic enabler =yes screen would flash a few times b4 loading so changed graphic enabler to no and that solved the problem now card is shown as nvidia quadro instead of 8400gs Also sleep works without bios password dont know if that works like that anyway on nvidia I know it does not with intel cards the only thing I found not working is brightness slider in system preferences but then you can use the keyboard I run in 32bit not 64

Hi just received my d620 today and after changing wifi card for a dell 1395 and installed snoweopard now and again i get kp on bootup with RTC 1.3 Has anyone experience this?????/

I used to get that on my dell d430 broadcom showed as intel but apart from that does it work????/
