  1. The last day's i've played with my new monitor, so here is my ioreg Werners MacBook Pro-no-batt-status.zip I've added one 4 finger gesture which works but while using it i hear the system alert sound @Gia i will try your dsdt edit: the same with your dsdt I'm using the nvidia card maybe that's the difference
  2. I'm using Rehabman's ACPIBatteryManager.kext 1.55, only 8-bit fields in the EC (dsdt) No issues with the old driver
  3. I've been glad too early, after a few restarts battery status is disabled.
  4. A quick test: awesome Dr. Hurt, this one works with inertia also after wake from sleep, and don't disable my battery status pretty cool
  5. Yes, inertia is working with the old driver, not really sluggish but a bit tricky
  6. Yes, this one works after sleep, also tested on Lion. Inertia scrolling never worked for me with your kexts.
  7. I've manually deleted the kext before copy them, mouse kext is not present in Release 3, same hardware V3. Now i remember, i've started the Laptop and closed the lid after 8 minutes, so pad and stick died after wake from sleep like on Gia's post. I see this error "Unexpected acknowledge (fa) from PS/2 controller" after wake from sleep. What about inertia?
  8. I'm back @home Downloaded Release 3 which works about 8 minutes, then a lot of "ApplePS2Controller: Timed out on mouse input stream." errors, then "ApplePS2Keyboard: Unexpected acknowledge (fa) from PS/2 controller." after this error pad and stick died
  9. Did 2-finger scroll work better for you with the old driver? My code is based on Linux 4.1. I could downgrade to Linux 3.9 (like bpedman's version). Overall, what do you think of this driver? How does it compare to the old one? What's gotten better, what's gotten worse?
  10. R2RC2 also works for me, no inertia scrolling, trackstick is to fast for me. 2 finger scrolling with fore + middle finger is ok if the fingers are a bit apart Trackpad pointer movement is better. Thanks Dr. Hurt
  11. Only a quick test here, R2RC1 is ok, no inertia scrolling (which value should we change). I'm not really using the trackstick but it works. 2 finger scrolling is ok if you scroll with the middle finger and ring finger side by side, if you scroll with the fore finger and middle finger you made right clicks. The most annoying thing is the pointer movement after finger lift, the same behavior on Linux
  12. Touchpad is working now, side scrolling too, but the Trackstick scrolling speed is to fast
  13. Here are my experiences: With the kext from post 15 the trackstick speed is very fast compared to the trackpad The kext from post 20 the trackpad is not working anymore after i'm using the trackstick once Strange thing, with all your kexts the battery menu-status disappears and can't be enabled, the energy saver prefpane shows me current charge 0% Maybe Jake Lo can confirm this behaviour
  14. Hi, the kext from the first post is not working, but the one from the last post, so far it seems to be ok, but no momentum scrolling inertia, can we enable it?
  15. Thank you Dr. Hurt, can't download the source code
  16. The device-id don't matter change layout-id to "layout-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 },
  17. Copy your "kext/10.10" folder and rename it to "10.11", or copy the files to "other" folder, then edit your dsdt, search for EHCI and replace wit EHC1
  18. If the computer starts in safe mode i think you must rebuild the kernel cache, start with -f and rebuild the cache I've no idea how EDP myhack is working , i'm using clover
  19. If you intend to use the nVidia card (optimus disabled) you can try this dsdt.aml http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/342-latitude-e6420-nvs-4200-dsdtaml/
  20. Can someone test if the dock PR03X has only mono mic input ?, only the right channel is working, but boot speakers gives me output. Thank you
  21. If you use JakeLo's AppleHDA.kext change the layout-id to 0C dsdt edit "layout-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x0C, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 } or rename the layout12.xml.zlib from applehda.kext/contents/resources to layout0.xml.zlib and repair permissions
  22. If you want to use your E6420 with the nvidia card go to insanelymac and download the dsdt with working sleep, not sure if it works with the boot-pack provided by JakeLo HDMI-Audio is only working with voodoohda, brightness change only with FN+F3 Pause
  23. The whole effort was not necessary, because with my patched dsdt the internal screen and hdmi-video is working with yosemite, but thanks anyway What i want to fix is hdmi-audio, for now it only works with voodoohda, which i don't want to use
  24. Got it working with voodoohda, i don't like voodoohda but i'ts better than no sound
