Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 26, 2018 Moderators Share Posted March 26, 2018 @quartz38 Will have to repatch the DSDT/SSDT with the card installed. Boot to Clover, hit F4. Continue to OSX Compress and attach /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin here
Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 26, 2018 Moderators Share Posted March 26, 2018 Hallo it works only with this method : restart in Clover, press Fn,F8 (to make HDMI monitor the main screen, and the only working, internal changes to black) lets start thats all but I can't activate the internal screen keys Fn,F8 is not working in macOS is this standard ? Regards Fn+F8 works in Windows, not MacOS See if this is true on 5580 too as this is what I have to do on my E7470 Known Issue & Workaround: HDMI-Output works but if connect HDMI-Cable the local Display goes off and never appears. I had tried different configurations but none panned out. Here's a workaround: Close the LID until you see the HDMI display becomes the primary display, then open the LID. It'll switch LCD as primary and projector as secondary.

quartz38
Hi Jake, A new issue today. I have installed a nvme ssd drive in my 5580 and tried to put the original ssd with Sierra installed external to boot and see if the nvme ssd is detected. Since this moment, I have every time a kernel panic, nothing is booting anymore and even if i put back the original ssd in place of the nvme one, no more boot !! I think something has changed in the acpi table. I join the presumed "new" origin folder. May be could be very kind of you to give to me some explanations if possible. Thanks origin NVME.zip
Administrators Bronxteck Posted March 28, 2018 Administrators Share Posted March 28, 2018 Try F12 Boot Selection or check bios boot order. also post a picture of the Kernel Panic
quartz38
I know about F12. I removed the NVME and boot with the ssd previously working. I will try to take a picture. It seems something has changed in the acpi tables perhaps, it's why i posted the new origin folder
Administrators Bronxteck Posted March 29, 2018 Administrators Share Posted March 29, 2018 unless there is something in nvram. I think F11 at clover boot prompt clears it. you can press F1 at clover prompt to double check
