Dell Latitude 7480 - High Sierra: Any how-to?

Recommended Posts

Try this, replace the Config file. Place DSDT & SSDT-PNLF into /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched

Remove from /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other

  • VoodooI2CELAN.kext
  • VoodooI2CUPDDEngine.kext

Remove and test all the issues.

It starts booting, but after a while, blured text and white denied mark on screen.

Just restored the EFI folder to have it working again, and dont have the exact text when the denied mark appears and text gets blurred, but is after loading IntelMausiEthernet.kext.

Just starts booting, and reboot.

The zip included fix for the trackpad and HDMI audio? To be honest, I can live without HDMI audio 😋

Do you have any source or guide to try to make some patches for the trackpad, so I don't have to bother you all the time?

Jake Lo, can you give you advice for me?

1. In my 7480 i put new wifi/bt card - DW1560.

Wifi and BT work fine. But after that i change some option in BIOS and can't boot anymore with old DSDT - hang on booting.

So i'm lost Pinning touchpad :(

Can you help me with patch new DSDT (TP in i2C bus -DLL07A0 , TPD1)?

2. Can't change Brightness by Fn key (F11-F12). Can't understand why.

Here my config.

Help me please , if you can.

Change settings back...

Sure, i do it, but still can't boot, unless remove DSDT . With new DSDT (clover+F4) boot normal.  I think, card replace changed that.
