Moderators Jake Lo Posted October 27, 2018 Moderators Share Posted October 27, 2018 Probably need to patch your own DSDT/SSDT. Boot to Clover GUI, press F4. Boot to OSX, mount the EFI Partition. Compress and attach the Origin folder under /EFI/Clover/ACPI I'll help your patch the files
Entropic
Thanks, Jake Lo. I attach the origin folder of both computers. The 7440 unit only have the problem once every 4-6 boots or reboots, but in the 6330, the problem is almost always. I appreciate your help patching the files, because I am really new in this arena. 6330origin.zip 7440origin.zip
Entropic
6330 is on A20 BIOS and 7440 on A25. Clover folders are attached four or five posts ago. Thanks.

Administrators Hervé Posted October 27, 2018 Administrators Share Posted October 27, 2018 I've had that before on my E6230. Turns out I was using the wrong CPU power management SSDT after I changed my motherboard and went from an i5 to an i7 CPU. Once I generated the correct SSDT, all worked well again. Check that out or regenerate your SSDT. If you're not using one, check out your Clover power management settings. That's where it'll be.
Entropic
It didn't work, Jake. After the new dsdt.aml, it worked fine two boots, but the third one went back to the trouble. Thanks all the same. Entropic.
Entropic
Hervé, I don't see power management settings opening config.plist with Clover Configurator. Where do I have to look for?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted October 27, 2018 Moderators Share Posted October 27, 2018 @Entropic Your Config file shows DSDT-LoRes.aml. Did you change it to just DSDT.aml so it'll load the correct DSDT? Try also at the terminal to reset NVRam sudo nvram -c
Entropic
Jake Lo, I'm afraid I am, as we spanish people say, un cenutrio. What you said in your last post gave me the clue. I used a bootpack with two posibilities low res and high res. I choose low res, which is my computer case, and I changed the name of the original file from dsdt-lowres.aml to dsdt.aml without realizing that config file had also the dsdtlowres name, so the system was not charging the file because the name was wrong on config from the beggining. I changed the name in config and now all is working properly during 10 reboots. I'll pay more attention next time. Thanks for your support. Thanks also to Hervé for his attention. Good weekend!!!!!
