CypressPearl
Could someone please help me troubleshoot why I can't get QE/CI to work on my e6400 Latitude with NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M 256MB? I am using this dsdt-mariusz2.aml.zip from (post 44 of this thread) I have tried GraphicsEnabler=Yes with no luck. According to Mariusz, Graphics should work with DSDT fix or GraphicsEnabler=Yes. I am not sure what to do next...? saphire
Dear Mr.CypressPearl I think you maybe reset yout CMOS as default then reset AHCI, and try again hackintosh, if still fail, I suggest paste your chameleon picture here.

dalda.cz
Hello all Dell 6400 users with Mac OS X. I am beginner with Mac OS X and I have following problem: I have Dell Latitude E6400 with Intel GMA 4500 graphics card. If I use this with screen on build in display it works OK. But if I use dock station with two Dell monitors 2x1650x1080 - os detect only one monitor ad switch to resolution 1024x768. In display settings I see only this resolution. To be sure - I use Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3. and default apple kext for graphics. Do somebody have some solution? Thanks //DALDA
saphire
To: Dalda.cz My E6500 is nvidia, I have no dock station, but I have a 1920X1200 Dell monitor, I connect with VGA, all is right, it even can found all display method, mirror or expand are all normal (1920X1200 dual, 1600x1000, etc). From your pasting, I think maybe current intel GMA4500 is not so good support. My version is 10.7.3 X64.
dalda.cz
I have another Dell notebook with NVidia card, and there it is OK. It looks that problem is with some kext (driver) for Intel GMA4500 graphics. No other idea? Thanks for reply. //DALDA
Administrators Bronxteck Posted April 18, 2012 Administrators Share Posted April 18, 2012 well the gma4500 graphics only works in VESA mode no hardware acceleration, apple never used that graphics so no real support.
