dmcknight123
It seems like I’m so close! @Jake Lo I’m following this thread for my e5450. As long as I’m booting from the usb all is well. I’ve tried a couple different post installs but things are unclear. At this point when booting from the internal HD I get a clover menu with options like Boot FileVault prebooter from preboot, macOS install prebooter from preboot. When I boot macOS from the internal drive I get the apple, the progress bar, then it instantly restarts the laptop back to the same menu. What post install steps did I screw up? dmcknight123
OMG. I would’ve sworn I did that, but must have made it more difficult than it was. Thank you! Ethernet works, camera works, now onto replacing WiFi.
adarsh100
I have E5450 and it works great except for the touchscreen. Im not sure if its usb or I2C so i tried adding VooDooI2C and Elan VooDoo, without any success. I know the touchscreen is elan though. If i could get even basic touch functionality it would be great. Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 25, 2019 Moderators Share Posted May 25, 2019 @adarsh100 If you're using my files for E7450, then try disabling USBPort-E7450.kext during boot See if it picks it up as a USB device
