Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 22, 2019 Moderators Share Posted August 22, 2019 How were you able to capture this screenshot if it KP'd? Which bootpack did you use? I had attached one for Skylake(HD520) and one for Kabylake (HD620), looks like you have the Kabylake model. If you're able to get into the system, just repair permissions and rebuild cache. Reboot. If you're not able to boot into the system, then do this At Clover gui, press O to get to Options. Go down to Graphics Injector and select it Select both FakeID and platform-id and change them to 0x12345678 Continue booting Repair permissions and rebuild cache Reboot normally

Administrators Hervé Posted September 16, 2019 Administrators Share Posted September 16, 2019 It'll be one of the device ids listed when you click on each of the 3 x I2Cx@yy devices in IOReg.

His Latitude has KabyLake processor and hence HD620 graphic card while mine 7480 has SkayLake processor with HD520 graphics. By the way, I have checked my earphones output. It doesn't work as well. I didn't paid attention earlier cause I don't use it often. Hi Matroskin, i've also a 7480 with i5 Skylake with HD520 GPU. Please put your EFI-Folder here, so i can check some differences to my configuration. Thanks

What are the PCI ids of the TouchPad/TrackPoint models fitted to your 7480? On the 7490: TouchPad = 1028:081c (Dell-renamed Alps) TrackPoint = 044e:1212 (Alps) also I attached screenshots from the 3 devices that I have
Administrators Hervé Posted September 16, 2019 Administrators Share Posted September 16, 2019 -> It's shown just above the lines you've highlighted! 8086:9d60 / 8086:9d61 / 8086:9d62 where 8086 = Intel's vendor id These are the various Intel I2C host controllers. Nancy10
great, then your I2C kexts won't work directly on my setup. Is it possible to change the PCI IDs in the 7490 kexts to match mine and install those instead ? I would like to have the touchpad working, no need for the trackPoint honestly. Administrators Hervé Posted September 17, 2019 Administrators Share Posted September 17, 2019 ??? If you have Windows, browse Device Manager to identify each piece of HID/mouse/touchpad/keyboard equipment.
