Trackpad preference won't work unless Battery Status is working...check that first. Post debug file if you need further troubleshooting Not sure what you're referring to in sign with 5 languages, post screenshot for better understanding. above is the 5 language screen and debug is sent. Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 6, 2019 Moderators Share Posted March 6, 2019 That means system had crashed. Pressing enter should get it booting but does that occur on every boot /restart? In /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI, remove the following APFS.efi EmuVariableUefi-64.efi I see you have BrcmPatchRAM2 & BrcmFirmwareRepo in /L/E, so remove BrcmFirmwareData & BrcmPatchRAM2 from Clover/kexts/Other Should not need BrcmBluetoothInjector either. Is the Battery status working? Do the above, repair permissions and rebuild cache. Reboot a couple of times, check is Touchpad preference is working. Does the touchpad work at all? shinyxxx
the touchpad can work as a mouse, but not recognized as touchpad, I think. battery status works well. I will do the above, later reply.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 6, 2019 Moderators Share Posted March 6, 2019 Ok, looks like Alps IC2 touchpad is not fully supported, just emulated as a regular mouse with simple 2 fingers scrolling and some other simple features. Will have to wait for the developer to update his kexts if ever...could be awhile, he's a busy guy.
shinyxxx
Thank you very much! you help me a lot! It still has the 5 language screen, but no other issues. I have questions on: how to make the thunderbolt 3 and HDMI work? and how to change the key about the backlight? Now I can use F6 to reduce light, but I don't know how to turn up light. Also it needs to be F11 to turn down, and F12 to turn up, can you give me a solution?

Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 6, 2019 Moderators Share Posted March 6, 2019 @shinyxxx Install karabiner-element and set the FN keys accordingly. See here for example As for the Kernel Panic, does the system actually crashed and you get that on reboot or message just appear even without crash? Try doing disk repair, remove any incompatible apps and / or drivers.
shinyxxx
I will re-install the system again. and do what you said. hope there is less issues. ------after re-installation, the system goes smoothly, but after installation of karabiner-element, keyboard light can't be changed. here I share my clover folder(7480-6600u). and the other issue is about HDMI. can you share with me some method? Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 7, 2019 Moderators Share Posted March 7, 2019 Did you use Fn+F# to change or just F# to change, should be the latter. As for HDMI, connect the monitor and then run the debug report
