tinDell
I'm now using E5470, everything works like a charm. Do I still need to copy ssdt.aml to ACPI/patched folder?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 1, 2019 Moderators Share Posted August 1, 2019 No need, pluginType in Config file already enabled so it does the same thing.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 1, 2019 Moderators Share Posted August 1, 2019 You need Whatevergreen updated too. Use layout-id
tinDell
I did, 1.3.0 version. I use layout id 11, because 28 and 29 got me KP. Finally, found the problem, there are AppleHDA kexts in LE and SLE. So I removed the one in LE. Thanks for your help.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 2, 2019 Moderators Share Posted August 2, 2019 AppleHDA? Should only be one vanilla AppleHDA in /S/L/E
tinDell
Yes, that's what I did, remove the one in L/E. @JakeLo do you know how to use keyboard or trackpad to wake laptop from sleep?
Administrators Hervé Posted August 3, 2019 Administrators Share Posted August 3, 2019 That's not supported on those Dell laptops, not even in Windows. You can set Wake from USB in BIOS to wake laptops from an external USB keyboard/mouse but that only works when laptops run on mains.
