Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 1, 2019 Moderators Share Posted August 1, 2019 Missing Clover folder but I was able to check the bootlog.txt that your Lilu.kext is old. Add Whatevergreen.kext and remove the kexts that's been superseded by Whatevergreen. You're using layout -id 28, change it to 12. Post Clover folder for further verification
appletechgeek
trying to update lilu causes a cpu 6 caller kernel panic wich indicated a lilu problem according to forum posts here is a copy of my clover folder without the themes and doc folder (to save upload size) after following your latest instructions CLOVER.zip
Administrators Hervé Posted August 1, 2019 Administrators Share Posted August 1, 2019 You're using some outdated kexts: FakePCIID, Shiki, etc. Make sure you: remove old versions of Lilu + Shiki remove those old FakePCIID kexts (they're superseded by Lilu + WEG kexts) remove those graphics DVMT and/or FixUp kexts, they're not required afaik use latest Lilu + WhatEverGreen + AppleALC kexts (available off well-known Github repo)
appletechgeek
I removed the fakepciid and dvmt kexts and installed latest Lilu WEG and AppleALC And trying to boot gives a cpu 2 caller kernel panic And it doesn't boot into -s Gets stuck on this weird stuff
appletechgeek
Is there a way for me to use single user mode command prompt to copy the deleted kexts back into the kexts folder to get boot up? I got a copy of the bootloader on my desktop
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 1, 2019 Moderators Share Posted August 1, 2019 Try replacing voodooPS2Controller.. with this version If you don't have your USB installer to get pass this, you can disable the voodoops2Controller.kext at Clover Hit spacebar -> Block injected Kexts Select the Folder where kext(s) resides ( Other, 10.13, 10.12…etc) Select kext(s) to be disabled Go back to main menu and boot with selected option You can try booting with arg CPUS=
appletechgeek
Still same kernel panic (cpu 0 caller this time) after using cpis=1 and disabling ps2 controller. I got a copy of the kexts i deleted. Is there a way to copy those back using single user mode? I need those back to boot again
