dirtyb15
Removed SSDT-Disable, and tried all 3 USB ports. Gets to something about AppleUSBHostcompositedevice0 ........ then screen goes garbled and i get a circle with a line through it.
Administrators Hervé Posted January 15, 2020 Administrators Share Posted January 15, 2020 It's called a "no entry sign" and, in the case of macOS, means that boot has failed.
dirtyb15
Went back to the clover folder i started with "3558_A10_Patched_Final_Version.zip" and added the EC patch. Still getting a Kernel panic. Looks like it hangs for a bit at Forcing CS_RUNTIME for entitlement: com.apple.private.security.storage.locationd Then I get deferred rematching count 0 IOG flags 0x3 (0x51) Previous shutdown cause.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 15, 2020 Moderators Share Posted January 15, 2020 The USB port limited has been enabled in the files I posted so you shouldn't be receiving the "NO ENTRY SIGN". Make sure your BIOS is setup correctly. LOAD DEFAULT, APPLY THEN GO BACK AND SET TO UEFI enabled AHCI enabled SECURE BOOT disable
dirtyb15
Thanks again for the reply. Positive UEFI is enabled and i am booting from the correct location, AHCI is enabled, and secure boot is disabled. I reset to defaults anyways and re set up. I went back to the files you most recently posted. Now I am back to just a Black Screen, i don't get to the clover screen. I have been through so many different files im loosing track now :). dirtyb15
I found that if i added the Vboxhfs driver, and removed it from the disable list, i now get to the clover screen. Now it is getting stuck at AppleUSBHostCompositeDevice0, then i get the no entry....
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 16, 2020 Moderators Share Posted January 16, 2020 Just to be clear, you are installing Catalina with the files from here? Reinstall Clover with the following setting using this Clover version Install for UEFI booting only Install Clover in the ESP UEFI Drivers\Recommended Drivers ApfsDriverLoader AptioMemoryFix AudioDxe DataHubDxe FSInject HFSPlus SMCHelper (leave off if you have VirtualSMC.kext in bootpack) Additional drivers PartitionDxe Themes (Optional)
dirtyb15
Yes, Catalina, with the latest files you posted. I reinstalled clover with the version referenced (Its what i have been using.) I selected all of the drivers except HFSPlus was not listed anywhere in the Clover installer. Should i add manually?

Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 16, 2020 Moderators Share Posted January 16, 2020 If you indeed is using the version linked you should see the HFSPlus is included with that version. Try this Config config.plist.zip
