elim
even with sleep enabler kext? then you might have to test without blue tooth module... i faintly recall that it broke sleep on d630 Yes! I turned off bluetooth in bios and sleep worked right away (close the lid, it want to sleep, open the lid, it shown system pswd, enter the pswd, and then the account pswd, it retrieved the state before sleep)! But just once!! Even turned of the bluetooth in bios, close the lid, it goes to sleep for a second and then the system get to strange state after a flash of bluetooth lit and HDD on and off: LCD off, HDD off but CPU is not sleep. Have to wait until it turns itself sleep according to power saver setting. Maybe I need to remove hardware? Thanks a lot Bronxteck!

Administrators Hervé Posted June 15, 2012 Administrators Share Posted June 15, 2012 Nope, it's enabled in the BIOS and appears activated in SL. But, this being said, I've never actually used/tried BT on the D630 under SL... <_> PS: I've PM'ed you a link to download my zipped /Extra folder. Administrators Bronxteck Posted June 18, 2012 Administrators Share Posted June 18, 2012 yeah you might have to remove the BT module... its a little chip next to the left hing of the top lid after you remove the power/volume button cover. like the way to add memory
