adriandb
Dual booting works great on the two separate drives. Now to find software so each drive can read/write to the other. Still no luck with the AppleHDA. I'd love to get it working as I'm realizing now that while the VoodooHDA makes sound work, the volume is static, it can't be changed. I'd also like to get that card reader working again. Is there any info I can provide to assist?
Administrators Bronxteck Posted February 6, 2014 Administrators Share Posted February 6, 2014 did you reload the SD kext into E/E and run a my fix? you might need the prefpane for voodoohda. VoodooHDA.prefPane.zip

I didn't load the SD kext as I wanted to see if the AppleHDA kext would give me audio, which it didn't. I already have the Voodoo prefpane. I'll try loading the SD kext along with the AppleHDA kext. dfiore
Hey Guys, New here but not new to Hackintoshing. (have been using various hacks since the 10.4 days) I need to run a few OSX apps on my work e6320 and have a working install up and running thanks to this thread. Sound works (headphones and internal speakers) Full QE/CL working WiFi working with a MBP Airport card Battery working and showing properly Sleep working etc etc The only issues I'm having at current is SD Card reader (no driver, and reading it seems that the Voodoo driver will break sleep, and like other posters i prefer sleep to SD Card), and Video output to DVI/DisplayPort/VGA. The video out is the big one for me as i work off a 27" monitor at work. I had DisplayPort via the dock working at somepoint during my install and now i cant seem to get it back. I would be fine with DVI-D or DisplayPort. I would be eternally grateful to anyone who can help. My details below. All Kexts in EE and no mods to SLE. adriandb
Here's the extras folder I'm using. I don't have the SD Card working, don't have working volume control and haven't tested external displays, but thought I would post what got me up and running. Thanks a ton to everyone in this thread who offered help. Extra_E6320.zip
dfiore
I was actually able to get most everything working by mixing and matching with other EE folders here. Currently working: Full QE/CL on video including DVI,VGA,DisplayPort (typing now from 10.9.1/27" via displayport) Sleep Battery Display Wifi (via MBP full height wifi card) USB2 and USB3 Currently an issue: SD Card (have not attempted to get this working as of yet) Sound switching between headphones and internal speakers. (this previously worked but after rebooting, its not working today.) Attached my EE for anyone who needs / wants it. If anyone has a suggestion for the sound switching it would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave Extra_e6320.zip

adriandb
dfiore, does yours have a Bluetooth module? Does anyone have a recommendation on which Bluetooth module to add?
