KFP
Leon -- I have Lonovo Ericsson f3507g, works on my Thinkpad x200 with Windows 7 Professional, connected to T-Mobile without problem. I want to follow your guide to move Ericsson f3507g and SIM into my X201 with Mavericks 10.9.2 I did not see your guide mention anything about OSX version or hardware information. I assume it should be OK for my case - Mavericks 10.9.2 and X201. Please advise and thank you for that excellent guide.

KFP
On Mavericks, what is the best WWAN card you recommend? -- with less efforts and time to setup it.
Administrators Leon Posted April 21, 2014 Administrators Share Posted April 21, 2014 Honestly i dont know.. been wondering the same myself.. if you find out do let me know
ckleea
I think one may look for a 4G card but difficult to get it work for OSX. I have a Sierra Wireless and after changing cellphonehelper.kext, it is recognized but not able to get the WWAN configuration up from the network configuration
Administrators Hervé Posted April 22, 2014 Administrators Share Posted April 22, 2014 In that case, it might just be available as a dial-up modem, not a WWAN card.
ckleea
My card is shown up properly in system profiler under WWAN section of Network. Only I cannot add the WWAN card during network configuration. the WWAN logo also showed up at the top menu task bar.
Administrators Hervé Posted April 22, 2014 Administrators Share Posted April 22, 2014 Then, it's probably like the DW5520 in Mav: it does not appear to work (yet, I had DW5520 working under DP versions of Mavericks).
Administrators Leon Posted April 22, 2014 Administrators Share Posted April 22, 2014 @Herve, have you tested using those DP kexts on real mavericks ?
Administrators Hervé Posted April 22, 2014 Administrators Share Posted April 22, 2014 No, I no longer have them; 'long been overwritten and I never kept a copy of any DP stuff. Could try ML kexts though...
