Hi Jake,

i have another 5580 from a freind, which is not booting with this EFI.

I only got to this point (IMG_6435).

Don't know which graphics it has, the system info only tells me this (IMG_6436).

Service tag (18P63H2) is not telling me anything about the graphics.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Kabylake is either HD620 or HD630, either way, the config should work for both graphics.. Make bios settings are set correctly. Best to set it to load Default. Safe, reboot, go back and set it to

Enable UEFI / AHCI

Disable Secure Boot

thx, the installation is running.

Will check tomorrow if everything is recognized.

is there any way to support the forum?

strange behaviour...

after the first part of the installation and the reboot, not even opencore is shown any more.

looks like its booting from my external drive efi, but nothing on the screen after the dell logo.

is there any way to clear the nvram without the opencore tool?

or any suggestion what this can be?

bios settings are ok. default, uefi and AHCI enabled, sec boot off.
