Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 1, 2022 Moderators Share Posted November 1, 2022 Haswell has dropped support for Ventura but you could look into OCLP (OpenCore Legacy Patcher).

adduvin83
hello, I managed to install ventura and update the graphics card using OpenCore Patcher, the only problem was the audio can anyone help me. thanks
Administrators Hervé Posted November 19, 2022 Administrators Share Posted November 19, 2022 -> ALC688 codec. Use AppleALC PlugIn of Lilu and configure according to the AppleALC wiki. Same as you had with Monterey really; provided you did not install any OCLP patch for audio; that would be unsuitable.

adduvin83
hello, after many attempts, I finally managed to instal all the kexts and the dell is working (I can also post the EFI folder), the only problem is the touch screen (problem already detected with monterey, but not solved) now there is a way thank you for doing it
Administrators Hervé Posted November 26, 2022 Administrators Share Posted November 26, 2022 Touchscreens usually are USB based. However, recent macOS versions require that you apply a patch (called "USB HID fix") to support those USB accessories because, since Big Sur, Apple dropped support for older/legacy USB technology. The patch is readily available on Hackintosh forums and provided in my E7270 guide. Look it up.
