Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 17 Moderators Share Posted January 17 did you set DVMT in the BIOS?
deivi1
I think that might be an issue. I set to 64 mb using modgrubefi. Should i set higher ?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 17 Moderators Share Posted January 17 No, in the config file I added the patches. Go ahead and disable these since you already have DVMT set. If it still doesn't work, then increase it. framebuffer-fbmem framebuffer-stolenmem
deivi1
Same result. Which is the value to set higher than 64mb
Administrators Hervé Posted January 17 Administrators Share Posted January 17 Typical values for the DVMT register are: 1 -> 32MB 2 -> 64MB 3 -> 96MB It's always a multiple of 32MB. See here. Check out your register possibilities through the ModGrub CLI help if that's available.
