Andres Galeano
Ventura gpu intel hd 4400 needs to be corrected gpu intel hd 4400 needs to be corrected tomorrow I upload my efi folder to see if they help me correct it and see if we leave it perfect
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 23 Moderators Share Posted January 23 Did you run the OCLP? It's needed since this gpu is no longer supported in Ventura
Administrators Hervé Posted January 23 Administrators Share Posted January 23 No, he did not; he's got no graphics acceleration -> Intel HD Graphics 4400 4MB. It's not "Ventura done" per sé but Ventura installed and running in reduced VESA mode for the time being... NB: As per our published rules, no double post on the forum please. Andres Galeano
Excuse me, it's the pure reality, I was able to install it but the graphics acceleration is not working. Just like I have noticed that at 2:10 after being turned on the laptop restarts automatically. Attached my caperta efi and config. Config.zip Download EFI
Moderators Jake Lo Posted January 25 Moderators Share Posted January 25 You'll need to: disable SIP. Just change csr-active-config to 03080000 Add this to bootarg as well amfi_get_out_of_my_way=0x1 On reboot, reset NVRam Download OCLP 0.5.x Selected "Post Install Root Patch" -> Start Root Patches Rebooted system - > full graphics acceleration
Andres Galeano
Thanks, I'll be doing the test and giving you feedback. after trying it no longer restarts but remains frozen 1. Force reboot 2. Started and quickly started the OCLP 0.5.3 process and froze again on this process but got a little further along
Administrators Hervé Posted January 25 Administrators Share Posted January 25 You must revert to the SMBIOS of unsupported Haswell platform for the OCLP patch to work: MBP11,x or MBA6,2. You installed Ventura with SMBIOS MBP14,1 which is a Kaby Lake platform. That's unsuitable for OCLP patching. Make sure you apply the OCLP root patches and absolutely nothing else on your Hackintosh. Andres Galeano
The question is that I realized that without changing the SMBIOS the installer does not start and that by making the change in the config.plist I was able to start. What do you recommend? graphics acceleration enabled The freezing problem continues but without automatic restart. You have to force shutdown. Administrators Hervé Posted January 25 Administrators Share Posted January 25 Perfectly normal; you can't install Ventura without a supported SMBIOS; same goes for OTA updates. Once Ventura is installed, revert to Haswell SMBIOS and boot with -no_compat_check boot arg. Then apply the OCLP root patches.
Andres Galeano
Excellent, I'll do it myself and try it, thank you very much We have made a lot of progress, now the question is that it detects all Wi-Fi networks but when trying to connect it freezes again, I pass files to corroborate. another problem: no sound
