Fn HotKey and ALS sensor driver for Asus Notebooks

Recommended Posts

Hi,

first, I'd like you to thank for your hard work guys. But secondly, I'd need a little help with my Asus G750JH brightness settings. I'm using both of your kexts, EMlyDinEsH, I did the DSDT changes, all works perfectly but screen brightness.. I've tried the Zenbook screen backlight patch too, but it says: Object does not exist. (Screenshot included) Could you help me with this problem please? I have spent ages with this problem -_-

My DSDT is included.

Does it has Nvidia GPU only? If so PM me for more details on this.

where is ioreg and system log? help plz

You need to make your own DSDT... Please read in the forums... Ioreg is a tool... and if you even don't know where you can find system log... really... no wonder that nothing is working for you...

Everyone here spend much time to find everything out, and they written Guides/Fags for PPL like you!

You need to read them and don't ignore it... Be respectfull and read the Guides and don't cry for help...

At last you need to know some Basics...

Cheers :-)

Use the IOregistryExplorer app v2.1 or lower (google) and save a file from file menu in that app, for system log open Console app found in OSX and look at the left menu then right click on it and choose shown in finder for that file.

Send me the above two files and your DSDT so i can help you.
