Administrators Hervé Posted February 6, 2013 Administrators Share Posted February 6, 2013 It seems I cannot boot at all anymore. It remains blocked at: Read HFS+ file .... bytes That's the result we've noticed when you have Chameleon module 'FileNVRAM.dylib' on /Extra/modules + a Chameleon boot file pre-v2169/2170. Remove that module and you'll be able to boot normally again. Meantime, try to boot off your USB installer.

wbgbrau
I'm facing the same problem. Even after a new installation and using an old Extra-folder (Version 4), the internal screen was black. External Screen was working. As a work around, I'm using the D620 NVS configuration right now (see https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2102-d820-lion-black-screen-nvs110/)
oneill
I have tried re-installing everything from the old iso method and I run the new edp, now I have a black screen from the begining, no chameleon screen or anything. Are the old edp's and documentation still available?
oneill
Finally I managed to install everything using the old installer and Edp 1.9.2. Everything works except the wifi which worked in the installer actually It's broadcom on which I applied the airport eeprom change. It is seen, cannot activate it, no dmesg error.
