roland.msv
I had checked this option in CloverConfigurator as suggested in #41 post.
Administrators Bronxteck Posted April 21, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 21, 2015 well you might be missing some sort of cpu power manegment flags/ kernel patches or SSDT for your CPU. adding null cpu kext might get you at least to install so you can finish trouble shooting.
sektion31
Do you have Data/Memory Execution Prevention enabled? That was my first problem with getting the kernel to load.
roland.msv
Memory Execution Prevention is disabled in BIOS. Do I need some sort of boot flag for NullCPU kext? I just putting it to S/L/E, and this doesn't helping at all, while I can see it blinking in verbose mode. Also, tried to install Yosemite from same usb-stick on my old X200t, and process went just fine, so I think there is nothing horribly wrong with installer. Maybe fellow x201t-ers can share their boot flags, because I don't have any idea where to get them.
sektion31
Execution Prevention must be enabled. That fixed it for me at least. Sorry for the bad wording in my previouse post.

fareius
Anything new with Yosemite or is it fully working? Is it suitable for everyday work/use? Because I'm thinking about installing Yosemite on mine x201 (3680) .
mpalomba3
Can someone help me out with instructions on the white list removal BIOS? I tried a bios mod on an HP laptop I had once and it destroyed it. Never powered on again, had to be sent in to HP for a repair and the only solution was for them to replace the MOBO. I'm just not looking to have to do that again. So does this work on all x201 laptops (not x201s or x201 tablet)? Are there any special instructions?
