uniqe15
Hello everyone, im having weird problem, my laptop has only usb 3.0 ports and none of them works, i've tried to reinstall GenerisUSB kext but no effect, and what's weird my mouse works during installation. Im using dell e7440 (Clover Yosemite 10.10.1) i7 4600U intel hd 4400 and alps trackpad. Are any kext's available?
Administrators Hervé Posted May 19, 2015 Administrators Share Posted May 19, 2015 How about when you boot without cache? Do the ports work then?

Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 19, 2015 Yes, when you see the Clover, hit space bar and select "...without cache".
uniqe15
Nope, they don't(tried even safe mode). I don't really know what's wrong, maby becouse im using haswell kernel ?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 19, 2015 See here. You don't need to patch Haswell kernel since you're using Clover. You just need KernelPM enabled in config.plist.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 19, 2015 You could keep the voodoops2Controller in efi/clover/kexts/10.10, no need to be placed in S/L/E. Daemon and org.rehabman.voodoo are not needed for the kext to work.
