Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 7, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 7, 2015 Are you sure about the specs or model? E5450 should have the Core M processor (Broadwell) with HD 5500 E5440 would have the specs you have listed (Haswell) ... Clover UEFI would work on either system. Update: Looks like Dell does offer 4th or 5th Gen Core for this model. Generally on Dell System: Exx20 = SandyBridge Exx30 = IvyBridge Exx40 = Haswell Exx50 = Broadwell To get started, check this guide We could assist with any issue you may encounter following the guide
e5450
Hello, thanks a lot. 5. Clover bootloader screen shows up, press F4 (this will dump your dsdt, ssdt), and shutdown. 6. Use another Mac, download HVT here, run the tool and install Tools > MacIASL, run MacIASL, go to Preferences and set to ACPI 5.0, then open /EFI/Clover/ACPI/origin/dsdt.aml in CLOVER USB drive. Click Compile, you will see 2 errors. Select the first error, you will see lots of Zero, delete them all. Click compile, you will see 1 error left.Click Patch button, download the patch here and apply:https://www.dropbox....x40 patches.txt Click Compile to check for errors, if no error (ignore warnings), you can save the file with File Format: ACPI Machine Language Library, name DSDT.aml to /EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched/ (of CLOVER USB). Point 1 to 5 => all fine I pressed F4 and used my MacBookPro 10.10.4 to instal MacIASL (Hackintosh Vietnam Tool 1.9.4 20150707). I set ACPI in MacIASL to 5.0 and opened the dsdt.aml from /EFI/Clover/ACPI/origin/. Please, see the Error.png in the appendix. What's wrong with my dsdt.aml? Administrators Hervé Posted July 8, 2015 Administrators Share Posted July 8, 2015 It's probably the line above that erroneous, maybe expecting Arg0 () rather than just Arg0 Furthermore, a Return statement is usually the last one in any part of DSDT code with nohing right immediately after except a closing "}". e5450
Hello, thanks for your bootpack In the appendix is a copy of the content in [uSB-Clover]/EFI/ I installed your kexts from Other/SLE/* with kextwizard to [uSB-MAC-Install]/System/L.../E... Now, there is an error with Bluetooth... Should i disable Bluetooth in BIOS? EFI-new.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 10, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 10, 2015 Sorry, I meant to install the kexts in SLE after you have a running OS X, but I don't think there's any ill-effect having them in the Installer. Does this system have an nvidia card too? Try enabling the following under Boot with Clover Configurator nv_disable=1 slide=0 As always, go to the BIOS, reset all to default and only enable AHCI in SATA Operations
