Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 17, 2016 Moderators Share Posted March 17, 2016 How are you creating the USB installer? Manual? Some 3rd party Utility?
Administrators Bronxteck Posted March 17, 2016 Administrators Share Posted March 17, 2016 if manual you need to unhide hidden files so you can transfer them to the usb. in terminal type defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES to turn it off change YES to NO
VinnyBarzallo
I made two different ways: 1. The first did like this in the guide, but I had trouble with boot flags, so set aside this option. 2. The second option did with MacPwn, and since then I is coming out this error, could you please give me a hand with this?
Administrators Bronxteck Posted March 18, 2016 Administrators Share Posted March 18, 2016 well it says its missing essentials package so maybe add it to the usb or you need to download a new os installer if its too old the certificate is expired and the installer will not install without setting the year back on the machine to when the certificate was valid. VinnyBarzallo
I decided to do what he told me, change the installer of El Capitan, and also prepare the USB as this in the guide. 1. Copy the EFI folder on the USB EFI partition. 2. Copy the downloaded Kexts path partition USB \ EFI \ CLOVER \ kexts \ folder 10.11 3. Reemplase the config.plist the downloaded file folder path inthe USB \ EFI \ CLOVER and it stays there do nothing, you leave for 1 hour I leave a screenshot:
