Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 8, 2016 Moderators Share Posted May 8, 2016 Did you include both CodecCommander & EAPDfix? Yes, I know they both do the same thing, but each alone does work as well as both together for this particular codec.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 8, 2016 Moderators Share Posted May 8, 2016 Since you're using Clover's hot patches, it's required that you have working cache. Boot without cache mode, repair permission and rebuild cache. Boot normally.
Administrators Hervé Posted May 8, 2016 Administrators Share Posted May 8, 2016 Details related to HDMI audio are provided in my E6440 guide. Basically, you need the DSDT HDAU patch + patched Azul FB for HDMI. Regarding the above kexts, CodecCommander should suffice.
Sorcerer
a little help with this would be great.. Jake patched my DSDT so i dare say he would have already implemented the HDAU patch. what now the Azul FrameBuffer ??? Also for some reason the system is once again crashing after waking from sleep.. and i have made no changes to cause this. do not understand why it was working fine for a week and then all of a sudden freeze and reboots after waking from sleep. Administrators Bronxteck Posted May 12, 2016 Administrators Share Posted May 12, 2016 have you removed your sleep image?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 12, 2016 Moderators Share Posted May 12, 2016 If you're using VoodooPS2Controller linked by Hervé oldHack, it's causing crashes after wake. I have to resort to ApplePS2Controller for now. Seems to be working fine for Hervé's models though but he's on Chameleon Enoch, not sure if there's any correlation.
