Administrators Hervé Posted December 16, 2016 Administrators Share Posted December 16, 2016 Try to manually inject the various values of the Capri Framebuffer until you find out the correct one. It's usually 3 or 4 on laptops with HD4000 graphics. With Enoch, you can inject these values via boot parameter IntelCapriFB=xx, where xx is in the range 0 to 11. If you use Clover, you can adjust this in the Config.plist through the Clover Configurator.
wonder2
Did that from Clover menu (Options/Inject Graphics), same error Could it be related to DVMT-prealloc ? Or DVMT-prealloc is a problem for Broadwell only? Thank you,
Administrators Bronxteck Posted December 17, 2016 Administrators Share Posted December 17, 2016 Ivy Bridge should not need the edit. in clover you would have to try adding IG-Platform which would look like 0X01660003

wonder2
no more Voodoo? I updated BIOS to A06, still the same "IOGraphics flags 0x43". However no "Previous shutdown code: 5" and the system does not go to black screen, it just hangs. After a while it says "busy timeout[0], (240s), kextd wait(0): 'AppleACPICPU'. Then again "busy" and black screen... I checked BIOS, it says Video BIOS Version 2132v08, could you please tell me whats yours? Thanks a lot!
