Administrators Bronxteck Posted March 29, 2017 Administrators Share Posted March 29, 2017 1. you have to get NVRAM working or save the value you want to use in clover config 2. depends on the manufacturer. and or if it's showing in USB bus. 3. need usb patches or usb mux kext. 4. webcam can also be a usb issue or it might not be supported. 2-4 might get resolved with some of rehabmans repos https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Fake-PCI-IDand https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-BrcmPatchRAM

Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 29, 2017 Moderators Share Posted March 29, 2017 You are using Chameleon not Clover correct? For 3 and 4, just add these from link by Bronxteck. Add to /L/E and run the permission fix and rebuild cache. FakePCIID_XHCIMux & FakePCIID Can't tell you about the USB wireless device since I don't own one. I prefer internal cards. I did what you said. Moved to two files to Library/Extensions. They already excited, I replaced, run the permission fix and sudo touch /library/extension. Did not affect to USB port or the web camera. Those would be really important for me.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 29, 2017 Moderators Share Posted March 29, 2017 Did you rebuild cache? Add USBInjectAll.kext
ElPCOS
But I searched google and finally found result. I renamed the USBHost thing from system/library/extensions and the MacBookPro9,2 then something I renamed them. Then I installed USB Inject All and rebuild cache and did the permissions thing. Now every USB port is working and the camera is also working. So we can no cross the two of the list that weren't working. So can someone help me with the following things. Right side USB ports, touchpad + gestures, keyboard, left USB ports, audio Thanks! ) So bluetooth is still on the to do list. I have to buy the WIFI adapter too. Hope it works. Should because its in the list.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 29, 2017 Moderators Share Posted March 29, 2017 What USBHost thing? Shouldn't need to, just those 3 kexts should suffice.
ElPCOS
Sorry, I may have left little uncertain. Those two kexts I had already so I searched and did what this guy said https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/9601-e6430-1600x900-intel-hd4000-gpu/?p=68291 Also, when sleeping, it works ok for me but the camera isn't connected after waking from sleep. If you know how to fix this, tell me. If you don't tell me that too because it's not the most important thing for me. (That the camera works after sleeping, it propably works after restarting.
