Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 22, 2017 Moderators Share Posted July 22, 2017 Known issue for this card, it's not getting an IP address. There's no new development for this kext as far a I know. Others were able to fix it by setting the Speed to 100baseTX I believe.
mroz1sty
What do you write about? The card is not visible in the system....
Administrators Hervé Posted July 23, 2017 Administrators Share Posted July 23, 2017 You could have started with that rather than state "LAN does not work"... Run DPCIManager app to verify the card model or if it's even detected in IOReg. Wasn't there also a ROM parameter of some sort to enable or disable in BIOS? Did you check the other E5x20 threads or search the forum?

mroz1sty
Hey, Thanks for the help, I used kext (included in attachment) which works with version BCM5761. Everything works as it should.
amthb0
I am having the same issue in Sierra. I used the boot packs from this post: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8506-dell-latitude-inspiron-precision-clover-guide/&do=findComment&comment=54632, everything is fine except the LAN. Then, I tried another DSDT which works fine in Yosemite, the LAN is active and normal, but USB ports not working. Seems it is not the LAN driver issue. I put the DSDT in attachment, could anyone please take a look? Thank you. DSDT.aml.zip
