  2. Hello everyone and thank you for being there. I have a Dell E6440, BIOS A23, i5 4310M, ONLY Intel HD 4600, 1HDD, 1SSD, and one mSata SSD. I followed the @Jake Lo instructions for creating and installing Hi Sierra 10.13.6. I used the @Jake Lo bootpack for E6440_HD4600_Only_A21.zip. Installation on mSata was easy. Now I have a few questions / problems. 1. Sleep does not work correctly. When using FN + F1 or the Apple menu ~ sleep. The screen turns off, but the fan continues to work and the HDD indicator also blinks constantly. After that, it does not come out of sleep at all, only sometimes I try to press everything on the keyboard, it wakes up like that. It is important that after that the sound also disappears. 2. Also, the settings for the brightness of the display after a reboot are not saved. 3. HDD is constantly blinking disk access indicator. four. 4.Almost constant fan noise is irritating.. I attach the necessary files, I really hope for help. debug_16173.zip Extensions.zip EFI.zip

    DSDT DELL E6430

Make sure you run with the correct MaciASL version Make sure MaciASL is properly setup https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-maciasl-patchmatic/downloads/ Once you run with the correct version and the right settings, you'll find that the DSDT table you uploaded on post #1 only contains 1 error (that you'll easily fix) and nothing else. This being said, what's the reason why you would want to patch the E6430 raw DSDT from scratch and not use the pre-patched E6430 DSDT that JakeLo gave you?
  5. As soon as possible, I will be more detailed in the problems I am encountering to make a good installation, some things do not work.
  6. I thank you for the moment that you have replied, I am not very practical on the subject so I apologize to you if I will have difficulty with English too, with your help maybe I could stay easier, is Jake's dsdt correct? because with maciasl it always gives me 3 errors Thank you and good day

    DSDT DELL E6430

Best way to get help is to post a full debug report. See instructions here.
  10. Sorry to raise that thread from the dead. No clue if I shall amend this one or open a new one? Found a Lenovo x201 for next to nothing, but this thing is killing me. Using the method from the first page, I won't see the USB key with the installer on it. Creating my own'ish Clover config, I get as far as the Apple, but no progress bar and a reboot or to a line of "+" Anyone got a working config.plist? In Debug mode I get as fas as: patching Kernel for injected kexts ... then it reboots. Won't even get to the Installer.....
  11. @EMlyDinEsH It's been more than 2 years since last update of the kext and about 1,5 year since last update of the first post. Can you finally release the source code, so someone could finally improve it?
  12. I couldn't find it in the IOReg, I did attach debug files if you can find it for me. thanks. 853.zip
  13. Not much to tune. Try this config. You may want to replace your USB injector kext by Rehabman's USBInjectall kext. config.plist.zip
  14. Hi , we have created a boot stick with help of this manual, thanks, Status now is laptop os booting and once the apple sign in shown we have no backlight , we managed with good eyes and flashlight and a HDMI connection to a connected monitor ( dragging screen form laptop to external screen), to configure the install of High Sierra, the installation itself was very fast ( about 5 minutes ) Afterwards when we choose the clover option boot form disk ,the laptop is booting but screen turns black and difficult to see is a apple logo and that's it. Need help in this. EFI.zip
  15. Hi, I'm a new user, I have difficulty with the dsdt for my E6430 laptop, there is someone who can fix my dsdt thanks to all DSDT.aml.zip
  16. Hi! I'm having some trouble getting the three physical buttons above my touchpad to work. I tried using ioio to find out what's happening while pressing the buttons. Console.log only writes out "Ignored ext buttons". Is there some way to enable them? Can provide more information/logs, if needed.
  17. Went into BIOS and disabled everything except: SATA - AHCI External USB MultiCore/SpeedStep PS2 Touchpad / USB Legacy emulation same exact error Can i use Clever Configurator in my Mac to tweak the settings on the USB Install stick ? What should i look for ? Thank you !

  19. how do i recompile if i have the kext and not the project? where and how does the contact if it has no repo? even on github there is no creator of kext there are no other kext I can try?
  20. Try and re-compile the kext directly under Mojave and for Mojave as target. Contact the kext's author Use an external USB mouse
  21. No, no, no; look this up in IORegistryExplorer.
  22. I have looked the DPCI and couldn't find the trackpad here s the output : Using PCI.IDs 2013.08.16 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:5916] (rev 02) (subsys 1028:07a0) 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:5904] (rev 02) (subsys 1028:07a0) 00:04.0 Signal processing controller [1180]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:1903] (rev 02) (subsys 1028:07a0) 00:14.0 USB controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d2f] (rev 21) (subsys 8086:7270) 00:14.2 Signal processing controller [1180]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d31] (rev 21) (subsys 1028:07a0) 00:15.0 Signal processing controller [1180]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d60] (rev 21) (subsys 1028:07a0) 00:15.1 Signal processing controller [1180]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d61] (rev 21) (subsys 1028:07a0) 00:15.2 Signal processing controller [1180]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d62] (rev 21) (subsys 1028:07a0) 00:16.0 Communication controller [0780]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d3a] (rev 21) (subsys 1028:07a0) 00:1c.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d10] (rev f1) 00:1f.0 ISA bridge [0601]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d4e] (rev 21) (subsys 1028:07a0) 00:1f.2 Memory controller [0580]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d21] (rev 21) (subsys 1028:07a0) 00:1f.6 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:15d7] (rev 21) (subsys 1028:07a0) 00:16.3 Serial controller [0700]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d3d] (rev 21) (subsys 1028:07a0) 00:1c.2 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d12] (rev f1) 00:1d.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d18] (rev f1) 00:1c.4 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d14] (rev f1) 00:1f.3 Audio device [0403]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d71] (rev 21) (subsys 1028:07a0) 00:1f.4 SMBus [0c05]: Intel Corporation (null) [8086:9d23] (rev 21) (subsys 1028:07a0) 01:00.0 (null) [ff00]: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. 23. so what can i do? is there any other kext to try? and it's okay to install kext in EFI/CLOVER/KEXT/OTHER ? and i try with the kext for Mojave https://osxlatitude.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=20394 but doesn’t work trackpad settings
  24. It seems you opted for a RC version as opposed to the final version. But maybe the kext no longer gets the TouchPad properly recognized under Mojave. I'd need to check on my E6230. Edit: confirmed! TouchPad fully recognized by the TrackPad PrefPane under HiSierra, not under Mojave 10.14.5. I'm pretty sure it was under initial version of Mojave so it must have stopped somewhere between 10.14.1 and 10.14.5...
  25. i try with the kext but doesn’t work trackpad settings
  26. no I entered the version because, the last one is not good because it very slow mouse. I installed it in EFI/clover/kext/other https://osxlatitude.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=15712 because I have all the kext there and they work. so the even the version should enable trackpad

I managed to boot and work Mojave 10.14.4 on Dell e6410🤩😃

I can not get wifi working,

I can not get USB ports working

I can not get VGA output to work.

The trackpad works as if it were a mouse and at times it goes on and on.

Any advice or help in this regard to solve this ??? Thank you in advance.
